"That is why Jersey has a kind of bad. reputation. We used to go down to the Keys in the winter. I think Canada, Michigan, and New Jersey empty for the winter and everyone goes down there. For the most part, they were pretty nice people and I couldn't understand why Jersey people weren't liked. IMO the people from Canada were obnoxious and downright unfriendly. Crap! Now all the Canooks are going to be on my arse. Anyway, thicken up your skin. We're here mostly for fun. However, I do enjoy a good argument now and again. Down in the Keys there was only one couple that gave a bad light to Jersey. At a grocery store, there was a couple that was giving the clerk a really bad time over a 35 cent coupon. The clerk and the computer said they never bought the item the coupon was for. After several minutes of them berating the clerk, I asked where you all from. The lady said New Jersey. I handed her 35 cents and told her I'd like to get back with my groceries before things spoiled. She shut up. paid her bill and flipped me off as she went out the door. Classy. "
